In 1936 the French Broad River Garden Club created a wildflower presentation to be rented by garden clubs throughtout the U.S.  The presentation included 74 color lantern slides with related notes, and a large portfolio of photographic prints.  Nine of the color lantern slides were created from negatives made by George Masa.
